Too much going on.

The Orlando Magic are on national tv 12 times this year. I've missed the first six due to not being home. I saw most of the seventh the other day, and even though they won, I missed the last 5 mins or so because of scheduled recordings on the DVR that we didn't want to miss. I went to check out tonight's game, and there were more DVR recordings that we don't want to miss. At least this game is on TNT and not the NBA channel. I can't get the NBA channel on my non-hd/expanded cable tv's, but can get TNT. SO, I'll be in the bedroom watching my Magic take on the Bulls. Hopefully my Magic can keep their playoff hopes alive and get another win!

Work has continued to be absolutely crazy lately. Our accounting software had a recent update which seemed to go smoothly and flawlessly. Yeah right. The accountants logged on afterward and we came to find out that their own software was incompatible with their own databases after the upgrade?! Wow...great job of coding there. After a huge headache, we got everything back to the way it way, and everyone is happy right now. Things look good, and we pray it truly is. We've been looking at outsourcing out email, which is a good and bad idea. Google has some great tools for small to medium businesses that if you have your own domain, you can get a lot for your business. Their big package ($50 a user/year) gives you 10 GIGS of email storage, a company IM client, their replacement for Office - Google Docs & Spreadsheets, Calendar, and a few other programs. They even plan on almost doubling their available/included programs by the end of the year, for their premium account holders. I think it would be a great thing to do in a couple years, when it's time to upgrade users to the newest Office. We could save a lot of money. AND a lot of headaches, since we wouldn't have to worry about email and email filter servers and upkeep. Plus, we only allow users 250mb of storage currently, but they'd get 10 GIGS of storage there. If they ever filled that up, I would just laugh, and then smack them for not knowing how to click the button labeled "delete".

I forgot tonight was Thursday, so I gotta see who got kicked off Idol. Moving to the living room. Sweet! Belinda just got home! WOO HOO!!! It's always a good thing when mama gets home.

Tomorrow is Friday. I'm hoping maybe Belinda will give me another morning to myself at Starbucks?

We're doing a study on "fasting" at work right now, if I haven't mentioned that before. I've fasted for a few times before, but after reading this book we've been reading, I've come to some serious conclusions about it all. I've never fasted for a real purpose other than to just lose weight. This book opened my eyes, and really showed me that I've got it all wrong, and have really missed out on a lot of things that God can do through and to a person through a fast. I am very excited about it all, and can't wait to try a longer fast when God calls me to.

Hitting on what I kind of touched on earlier...can there BE any more good shows on right now? There are so many good shows on that we can't watch 'em all! And with most of them an hour long, we've been watching too much tv. We're getting to the point where if we don't have any shows on that night, we don't know what to do. LOL! I'm joking, but it's kind of true. Mom, no comments on this part! HA! ;)

Braden is doing better. We found out he has a staph infection. And to top it off, it's the worst kind of staph you can get. Belinda says it's the kind that hospitals get that is resistant to most kinds of medicines. If you want to read more about it, you can google "MRSA". After a week of treatment so far, the dr was all thumbs up, so we're mostly relieved, but there are possible long-term effects. If you could, please pray for our lil' angel that he continues to heal, and will be fine after the medicine is over this time.

I've put out more vids on my youtube site, so if you haven't been out there in a while, you're missing out on some hilarious ones of Braden. Not sure if I updated it with any of the other two shorties in a while.

Have any of you seen the preview of that new movie that's coming out called "300"? Holy COW does that movie look awesome! I'm looking forward to seeing it about as much as I am any other movie that's came out.

Well, with Idol on right now, the kids going crazy, and it being their bedtime, I can't think too much more. I gotta stop for now. I'll leave you with this pic of a WoW mini-LAN that Brent and I did a few weeks ago, while Braden and Jaelyn played on their computers with us...

Peace out and word to your mother.

E
