I hate sports (except baseball) right now.

I mean it.

The Chiefs look pathetic (until Brodie Croyle comes in with about two minutes left). They lost Trent Green, but still, he wasn't THAT amazing. He was good, but did he get us to the Super Bowl? Nope. So having Huard as the QB should have been good enough. And the guy we drafted from Alabama, Croyle, never really impressed me in college, but he looks good at times when I saw him in the preseason, and he looked good tonight, so I think if Huard plays like crap for one more quarter, it's time to put in Croyle and see what we get. After week two, we're 0-2. In the NFL, that's a bad thing to be. Check out the Texans though. It's nice to see them do well, but still it's hard to root for them. (Randy Moss just scored a touchdown on the Sunday Night game...FANTASY FOOTBALL POINTS!!! At least something good happened today)

The Iowa / ISU game which usually provides some entertainment was an absolute joke. I'm not a big fan of a defensive game. It gets boring really really quick. I would have rather seen them blow us out than to barely win. It doesn't make sense on how they would march down the field, then couldn't score a touchdown. Sure, it's nice to say that the Hawks didn't allow a TD, but that doesn't mean anything when you still lose the game. The offense looks lathargic as well, so it's like the Chiefs and Hawks are the same team. It stinks when it's the best time of the year and all of your teams are losing.

Which brings me to the Cubs. They were worrying me for a while, and the season isn't over, so I'm not done worrying, but not as much. They're a game ahead, and looking pretty good. Here's to hoping the curse is gone!
