Today, the fam and I went to the Movie Tavern to see "Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium". It was a reward that the whole family was able to enjoy, because Jaelyn went a whole week with good behavior at home. I honestly wasn't looking forward to seeing it, based off of our decision to choose it over Pixar's "The Bee Movie", and the other family movie "Enchanted", but it was Jaelyn's choice, and so we all went and decided to have a good time. All of us that had a bad attitude were pleasantly suprised. We all agreed that it will be a must buy when it comes to DVD. It was that good. I'd say a solid A-. Great family movie if you're looking for one to see. Braden couldn't stay interested in it, so I'd say at least 5-6 yrs or older. And since it's a dinner/movie place, we decided to eat lunch there. It will be the last time we eat there as a family. The food is decent...good enough to eat there if B and I go there on a date, but pricey enough to say it won't be something we'll do as a family. It equaled us going out to eat twice at a relatively decent place...the whole family. I'll just leave it at that.
With the kids not feeling well, we decided to skip church so as not to possibly get other kids sick as well. So with that, we also got to the early show, avoiding crowds at the theater, and giving us more time to do whatever we need to at home. Laundry is caught up except for the one load in the washer and dryer. The house is clean for the most part. Football is on, and Belinda is home for the first Sunday in over a few months! So, we'll get to enjoy some family and football time. It really feels different when B is home on a Sunday versus a Saturday, don't know why. Maybe it's just the cold weather outside right now that makes our home really feel comfortable and awesome (I loves my cold weather!). Only thing to make this a better day would be to make some chili. And with it being so cold today, I swear I saw some really small snow flakes on the way to the movie? Belinda said the same thing. One can dream!
While watching football and enjoying the cold weather, we're going to also get the Christmas decorations and tree up. We'll have to save the outside lights for another day, because of the rain and all. It's going to be a fun time...all except keeping Evan out of the decorations and tree once it's set up.
I hope you all have a great day. Enjoy your loved ones, and this Sunday day.
