Super Bowl'in it at my crib.

There are 2 mins left in the 4th quarter. I am rooting for the Pats only because it would be cool to see a team go undefeated in my lifetime. I like the Pats, but they're not my Chiefs. But they're one of those teams that if they're on tv, I want to try and watch them. If they don't win the Super Bowl tonight, then their undefeated regular season was a waste. Just my opinion. The commercials have been pretty good for the first time in years. All the way to the fourth quarter even!

It's the first time I've ever watched the Super Bowl and didn't pig out on some sort of food. Pizza, wings, chips/dip (!!!), etc. Nope, I stuck to my meals. I was busy the first half, which made it easy. I was even going to have my last beer that's been in the fridge for weeks, but decided not to since I still have to eat my protein drink tonight. It's been way easier to stick to my eating since we didn't go to any party, and it's been enjoyable and relaxing to just stay home. With B's surgery on Friday, I've been on the go since then, so I'm glad we didn't go anywhere. I got to work out for the first time in two days, so that really helped me work off some of the stress. I did decide to plan my evening meal as a sort of football game-ish meal. Grilled BBQ chicken, and a nice salad. It was really good.

Oh my gosh...they just played a Mt Dew Amp commercial where this guy is dancing to "Push It" and it somehow starts a car. Hilarious!

I love this whole process of changing my eating habits. It's been tough at times, as who wouldn't miss all the bad stuff, but I loved it so far. What I really love though, is the working out. I love how working out makes me feel. I feel productive. I love how alleviates a bunch of stress even when it sucks to do. I feel as if a weight is off my shoulders every time I get through it. It stinks at times, and at times I really hate doing it, but when I get done...wow...love it.

HOLY COW! What a catch David Tyree just had with :59 secs left. NYG have the ball on the NE 24. Wow...what a game.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Freaking Ellis Hobbs...IOWA STATE ALUMNI...loses the Super Bowl for the Patriots. Way to go. Wow.

I officially can't stand Plaxico Burress.

:29 secs left

My mind plays tricks on me at night when I watch stuff. I swear I hear the baby or one of the other kids crying or whimpering. I pause/mute the tv, and don't hear anything.

Dangit, this sucks. I wanted to see Moss get his Super Bowl. Why can't the elite WR's catch a break and win the big game. Moss, T.O., Steve Smith. Poor guys.

:10 secs left. Perfect season is all but gone. Just realized I forgot my protein shake in the freezer. Not good.

:02 secs left. Game over. That sucks. Great game though. It was nice to see a good Super Bowl, with good commercials, and a good half-time show. Tom Petty is timeless. He sounds a little worse for wear, but it was a good show. It was nice to not hate either team in the big game, so I could just enjoy it. Super Bowl MVP in my eyes...the entire NYG defense.

Positive Note...it's nice to see Strahan get his ring.

Another note to ponder...is this the biggest upset in Super Bowl history?

Oh well. The best sport's season is over. Capitolized by a great final game. What's next?

Bring on March Madness, the NBA Finals, and the MLB Spring Training. Not as good as NFL games, but at least it's more fun and drama to watch. God, thank you for sports! Can't wait to see how they're played in Heaven!

God bless and good night.

You don't like Plaxico but you like Randy Moss?! Come on! Plaxico is tha bomb! I especially like how he was talking mad smack before the game about how they were going to win and then was able to back it up.

It would have been nice to see a team make history but I CANNOT stand Billichick. Seeing him lose was more important to me than seeing them get history. Now the Chiefs can get that record instead!

I don't even know where to start with Moss. He's an overgrown juvenile delinquent. When he said that he admitted that there are a lot of times he doesn't play hard AND you saw him doing it all the time in Oakland, I lost all respect for him.

Bah...don't care. Doesn't matter where he's playing. They were paying him TONS of cash. He's supposed to play regardless and he just decides he doesn't want to? Sends a TERRIBLE message to kids playing sports. Not to mention dude just cannot stay out of trouble. Don't like him.

Go Plax!
