More health news

I give blood every now and then, but have been really trying to do it every three months the last few quarters. This past time was the first time I gave since I started losing weight. My highest cholesterol level was 252 in January last year. When I gave blood in January this year, it was down to 237. So, I was down, but not really due to me trying. I heard that a cholestorol level over 200 is horrible, which made me really focus on eating oatmeal for breakfast as part of my cholesterol fighting agents. After giving blood two days ago, my cholesterol is now down to 198! I might live a long life after all?! We'll see. Gotta keep getting it down, to lessen the chance of a heart attack, etc. Just wanted to share the good news.

Wow! Good for you!! I am so jealous of your successes. I am really ready for some change around here! My hubby just finally offered to start dieting with me and working on goals together. I am hoping that this is what I need to jump start my weight loss!!
