Sunday morning

ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBAAAAAAAALL!!!
IT'S OPENING DAY WEEKEND IN THE NFL!!!
HALLELUAH!!!

It's Sunday morning...my favorite day/time of the week. I awoke this morning to B getting ready for work. Don't know what it was that woke me up, but it's okay, as for some reason, I just love getting up early on Sunday...enjoy some coffee...put the news on...boot up the laptop...and surf the web/blog/etc...all before the shorties get up. Today will be a hectic day, since I let yesterday go by without doing much. Today will consist of church, working out at the Y, mowing the yard, doing laundry, and then doing some cleanup in our room, since we still have a bunch of stuff that needs to be put away from our Iowa trip.

I'm looking at buying a new laptop and a new bicycle. The bicycle is just one more avenue I am looking at for exercise to switch things up at times. I plan on biking to work in the fall/winter/spring, to save on gas, and get a little workout, thus giving me more time at home on those days. I'm looking at getting a hybrid bike, which is a newer bike that is a cross between a road bike and a mountain bike. I debated between getting a road bike, but since I won't be driving for distance (at least for now), and I don't need a mountain bike since I won't be going on trails, the hybrid bike seemed to fit my plans. The laptop is going to replace our current computer. B and I have some plans to move some rooms around, and one move is to turn our computer room into a dining room...thus removing our computer desk. With that move, it will be really nice to get a laptop for the family to use, freeing up more space not having to need a computer desk. I was inspired to do this after we stayed with Tyler & Taya in Iowa, and seeing how they saved some space by using a really cool microwave stand. B had been wanting to do this for some time, but it was like a light just clicked on in my head. The thing is, that since my pc is a pretty nice pc still, I want to make sure any laptop I get will be just as nice, if not better, but we can't spend the money I'd like to on one. So, it's been a battle on looking for deals and what not.

Gaming - There are just too many games coming out that I want to play. Wish I had time though. I finally have quelled my WoW addiction...well at least for the most part. I'm pumped for StarCraft2, Diablo3, Spore, and heck, even the new WoW expansion a little. But I just don't have the time for anything that takes a lot of time to play each time I sit down. B has loved Guitar Hero 3 and the Aerosmith edition, which has made it fun to get together and play, but she won't play any pc games, which leaves me in the dog house if I spend too much time doing that. I guess it's finally time to get that second guitar! WoW was such a fun game, in fact it's my favorite game of all time, but I had to give it up because of the fact that it just takes too much time to really do anything, and so I need to focus on games that I can play, enjoy, etc...but get off quick if I need to do something. WoW is like that if you like casual gaming, but not if you want any real loot or want to run instances, which is what I was wanting to do. Grrrrrr...wish I could find a way to work as a game tester! :) BRING ON "PRETTY PRETTY PONIES" FOR THE Wii...I'LL TEST IT!!!

Well, it's 7:35am, my coffee needs a refill, and I need to get to surfing the intertubes. May God Bless you all with health, all your needs met, and to gift you with the realization of the blessings he gives you every day. May you all come to know your Maker.

God Bless!

GO HAWKS and LONGHORNS!
