A couple weeks ago, B, the kids and I walked in the Susan G Koman "Race for the Cure" (family walk portion, not the entire thing), and afterwards we took the kids to the "Kidz Zone" where they could play on inflatable playthings for awhile. It was fun for them, but even more fun for me was to see this scene of leaves that had fallen from the trees in this area. Most likely they were all just raked up to underneath this one tree so as not to cause any issues with the blowup toys for the kids, but it still made me think of back home and the best season of the year...Fall! I love Fall time so much. The sense of change. The cooler weather. The thoughts of soon to be sitting inside eating chili and watching football because it's cold outside. And then ending it with Thanksgiving meal, before Winter sets in and it gets cold. Of course down here it doesn't get anywhere near what it does back in Iowa, but still, this is the best season period! Just wish there would be more color in things down here instead of trees going from green to "lighter green". :)
Have a great day!
