I am blessed. I am blessed and here are SOME reasons why:
I have a God that can forgive me over and over and over and over and over, and can give me chance after chance after chance after chance. He is there through the good AND through the bad. He sees the REAL me like no other and loves me still.
I have the most amazing wife I could have ever asked for, and I don't know what I did to deserve her, but a day does not go by where I forget how blessed I am because of her. A wife who isn't afraid to show her strength. A wife who shows her continual support, and makes me laugh. A wife with thousands of other qualities that I can never talk enough about. I love her more and more every day, and never take for granted the time we have together.
I have four children. I have four healthy children. I have four healthy children that love me. I have four healthy children that love me and make me laugh. I have four healthy children that love me and make me laugh and that call me Dad. Oh yeah, and they know they have me wrapped around their little fingers!
I have a mother that is there for me and my family at the drop of a hat and helps us tremendously more than we could ever thank her for.
I have a job that allows me to be who I am. A job that pays me enough. A job that allows me to learn all I can, even though I don't have the time to that often. A job where I'm surrounded by Christians, and where I can go to any of them and have them pray for me. A job that sends me on missions trips.
I have a wonderful home. A home that doesn't have any issues. AC that works and keeps us cool in the hot Texas heat. A heater and a fireplace if it gets cold enough in the winter.
I have food in the fridge, food in the pantry, food in my suitcase, and food in my pockets. I have clean water to drink at home, and at work. I have clothes. I have too many clothes. I have a car that can get me from one place to another, far across town. In fact, I have two cars that can do that. I have two loving dogs that I can afford to take care, and I don't have to think about just letting them die when they get sick, because B and I make enough to care for them at least in some way. I have a phone that can be my email, my internet, my calendar, my notes, my music, and just about everything else, and it all fits in my pocket, leaving me with no reason not to be prepared for things that arise. I am able to secure a passport, and travel. I am able to take my family on a vacation. I can put garbage in the garbage can and someone will come pick it up and take it away and dispose of it properly for me. On and on and on and on and on.
I am blessed.
