Post 6 - If you could be a fly on the wall, who would you eavesdrop on?

This is super easy.  My kids.  It's the biggest responsibility I've been given, and I want to know if I've been a good enough role model and teacher to them.  I try to be a parent first, but a friend a close second.  I don't buy into the philosophy that a child doesn't need their parent to be a friend, but I believe they need to have the stron, loving hand of a parent first.  You have to guide and teach them first, leading them in the ways of Christ, and then be there for them when they fall like we all do in this life.  I would love to see how my older children are around their friends when their parents are not there.  I'd like to think that they're better than they are at home, or at least as good as that.  All the parents say they're very well-mannered children and are always giving us compliments, but again, that's around adults.  I want to see if they stay true to the morals we are trying to instill in them around others.  Shining Jesus' light to them, and living by example, rather than being followers and doing the status quo.
