Biggest Loser Wannabe

Well, I've been trying to start working out again, and at first I wasn't into it like I should be, and was just doing it to do it. Well, last night after watching "The Biggest Loser", I had a revelation. I had worked out two straight days, then took off Tuesday for no real reason. After getting home late and having a big dinner, I said to myself "I can't work out on the elyptical machine because I'm still full and I'll get sick, and B needs to go to bed and I don't want to wake her up." Just then I spotted a DVD I bought for B & I last year. "The Biggest Loser Workout". Yeah, I'm a sucker. We love that show so much I got that for us to maybe kickstart us. Well, I then thought "Hey, I could do that in the living room and let B go to bed and it won't keep her awake". So, I got up, threw on some workout clothes and turned it on. They have four programs on there, each starting with a 5 min warmup stretch, and ending with a 15 min cooldown. The middle portion revolves around what type of workout you're going for. With it being the first time, of course I decided to try the beginner workout. Thinking that it can't be that bad. Wow...was I ever wrong! Five minutes into it and I'm sweating profusely! There were several times towards the end where I had to stop doing what they were doing and go back to just moving in a motion they showed to do to keep my heart rate up. After I was done, I was BEAT! I was sweating way more than I do on the elyptical machine, and felt great for not skipping a day. Today I got up, and finally started counting my calories and writing down what I'm eating again. That really helps, for those of you who are trying to lose weight. Actually SEEING what you are eating in a day makes you think twice if you've already eaten alot, and are wanting something more. I haven't weighed myself yet, but I am going to get a digital weight scale, and will put my results on here. I welcome any encouraging words throughout the process. I see that I cannot do it myself, and every time I watch BL, they always state you need a support system. I want to be healthier, and I know what I need to do to be there.

Morning meal - 3 egg whites w/ some salsa, and two cups of milk. I'm already on 30oz of water so far and just gonna keep chugging!

GO ME!
