Man, what HASN'T happened lately? It's been so busy in the Sheldon household that I pray things will die down for a few days before baby E comes.
So, since I posted last, here are the updates:
I updated my blog on the right, to show my Twitters. If you haven't seen this site yet, check out www.twitter.com. What a cool idea. It's almost like blogging for lazy people! LOL! Seriously though, it's nice to get a thought out there but not have to write a whole long blog post about something.
I found THREE baby raccoons in the attic (pics click here). I heard more sounds up there a few days later, but by the time I had gotten there, the baby raccoon had died. Thank goodness I got to it before the smell started, and thank God that it died in an easy to get to place. I am so happy that we got this one out of there. I pray that's all for REAL this time! If you're keeping track, that's FIVE raccoons total. Game. Set. Match. Sheldons.
Starbucks has been calling my name every morning lately. It's so easy to just hit the Sbux before work since it's about two blocks away, but I've only had one in the past couple weeks, so it's all good. I've been working on cutting it out for the most part for a couple reason. 1) for the health reasons. I drink it for caffeine and because it's such an awesome thing to get the morning started, but with me drinking more and more coffee, I'm liking black coffee more and more and can just get that for FREE at work. Which brings me to 2) money. We all know it costs a lot to drink an Sbux drink no matter what you get. So I've been thinking about it, and it's actually helped me a bunch of days to turn into my work's driveway, rather than keep on going a couple blocks and pulling into the drive thru. The drive thru is such a nice convenience that they do, but it just makes it so much harder to say "no" to.
For those that don't know, Braden accidentally spilled pop into my laptop (which is actually my work laptop) on Sunday. I was upset, but mostly because I would be without what has become basically another limb of my body, for over a week or so. Turns out Dell got my laptop back to me within three days! That's service!
I called it! I said Sanjaya wouldn't make it to the top five, and even called that he would leave last night and he did. But what's up with LaKisha and especially Blake being in the bottom three? And can we be done with these stupid "theme" weeks? They're so stupid to begin with...even though Blake straight rocked his. If the finale came down to Blake and Melinda, I would care who won. I will probably get both of their cd's.
GOOD NEWS: THE ORLANDO MAGIC MAKE THE POSTSEASON!!! Bad News: They play the #1 seed, the Detroit Pistons. It was fun while it lasted.
Baseball is up and running. My Cubs are sucking it up, but I see a lot of potential. The Astros are starting off alright. With Houston being such a HUGE Astros town, it's all you hear about, but it's all good. Glad I started to like baseball a little while ago. And people are also actually talking about some promise to the Texans football season this year. I know my interest is peaked to see how things work out.
TV viewings as of late...Friday Night Lights: what a great show! Thanks to Stan for bugging me over and over to watch it. I hate that I missed the first two episodes. Scrubs: still the best show on tv. Thank God You're Here: show had promise, but has been lame so far. Deadliest Catch: cool show and a definite tape every week on the DVR after only watching one show. The Unit: turning into one of my favorite shows of all time. Halfway Home: the show is just wrong, but it's just so stinkin' funny!
Today at work they threw B & I a baby shower. When they told us they were going to do that a few weeks ago we were blown away. You usually don't hear about people doing that for a fourth baby. It was a total Godsend though, because after Braden we basically gave away all our baby stuff. We didn't plan on another, but God did. We were extremely blessed today.
The keyboard player for Newsong, Nate Sallie, put out a solo cd that I'm listening to right now, and while it's not a cd I could see being played on our station, it's got just a nice sound to it. Another one like Corrine Baily Rae where you can just put it in the player and do other things with it in the background.
Last Friday the Newsboys concert was off tha HOOK! We did a remote broadcast, in which I had to set up and make sure it ran well, then tear down at the end, so it was a long day. Everything went great though! I got a shirt, and was totally suprised they had my size! We found out a few days before the concert that they were going to be taping it to release on a dvd. Sort of a "One night in Houston with the Newsboys" type of thing. Can't wait for that to come out. You NEED to get a copy if you like the Newsboys. It was one of the best shows I've ever seen. Bar none.
In less than a month and a half we'll be heading back to Iowa. B and I are pumped to see everyone, even though this trip will be way shorter than last year's. I told her that we're not going back for a wedding next year. I want to come back and just spend time with people for a week or so. Get some real time to hang out and see everyone! I pray that the baby does well on the trip back. Thank God for dvd players in cars! It will be a lifesaver for us!
A few months ago, Stan told me to flip over to BET, to see an episode of "Celebration of Gospel" and I did so just in time to see Kirk Franklin's "Imagine Me" which is the song of the year in my eyes. The whole show was so good that it's still on my DVR are and I watch two or three of the songs every other night or so. Even the kids love that song and Tye Tribbett's "Victory". It was just one of those recordings that was magical. I pray the DVR doesn't act up and I'll have this one until we get rid of the unit.
I totally miss writing on here but don't have time or ideas any more it seems. And then when I finally do have the desire/motivation, I just ramble. Sorry all, but at least here's the post you've all been waiting for. God bless!

Okay...here's the questions...
1. If you could live anywhere in the world that you haven't already, where would it be and why?
2. What Bible verse means the most to you and WHY?
3. If you had a chance to have dinner with your favorite historical figure and only had the chance to ask him/her three questions, what would they be?
4. What is your favorite video game of all time?
5. What do you consider the lowest part of your life so far?
Here are the rules if you want to keep it going. Place these after your questions/answers:
1. *Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me." *
2. *I will respond by asking you five questions. I get to pick the
questions. *
3. *You will update your blog with the answers to the questions. *
4. *You will include this explanation and an offer to interview
someone else in the same post. *
5. *When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them
five questions.*
I guess my response didn't make it late night. Bottom line I love your posts. You and B's are my favorite that I visit every day. Life is busy you just do what you need to stay afloat, I understand. I just love your commentary and expressions.
Be good......Especially to B
