We made it back to Iowa last night at around 4:30pm-ish. We're staying at my stepdad, Jim, and his wife, Shelly's house for the week. It's so nice to be back in town. Seeing familiar settings, buildings, etc. Once we crossed the state line it just "felt" like we were looking at Iowa. We got to Jim and Shelly's, and just relaxed all night. Had some excellent spaghetti, and had some drinks on their tiki-styled porch.
Today our plan is to go see Kris, and Doug and Tonja, then have dinner with Erik Sr and Heather and Sam. It'll be nice to get to meet Dad's new lady, Kim.
We're super busy this time back again, as most of you know, but at least I can get some wireless connection from one of Jim's neighbors, so we can possibly update blogs and check emails if we have time.
Alright, time get get back on the road.
