Mowing wipes me out!

I've come to realize that when it's time to mow, that I'm pretty useless for a while after I'm done. Trimming, edging, mowing, blowing, and then grass pickup takes around 1:45-2hrs. And that's flying through it! Last night, I did all that, and used a whole bottle of grass killer on the cement cracks, to kill the sprouting grass, and on some of the flower beds where grass is a big issue. After doing all of that, I came in, chugged three huge glasses of water, took a shower, drank another glass of water, and then sat in bed as my head was spinning, and I felt like I was going to puke from drinking so much water. I couldn't get enough last night! My arms were dead as well, because of some advice my mom gave me. She said that if you keep your arms locked, that it puts all the stress on your back. Well with my current back issues, I decided to focus on keeping my arms bent. Holy cow...I'm feeling it today. I was barely able to stay awake to 10pm last night. I only woke up one time to go the bathroom last night.

Today I've got a few things I want to knock out at work. I want to read up on some more magazines we got in (when I can), but also focus on finding a new solution for our volunteer prayer computers. I'm looking at using a version of the Linux distrobution called "Ubuntu". Version 6.06 is the only stable version I can find to run in my Virtual PC program, and I hear it's the most widely used, so that's a plus as well. Just gotta figure out how to use it, how to securely configure it, and if we should deploy it to those computers. I'm also going to do some research on the AXIA technology we use. The main purpose of it is to be able to broadcast from wherever we have one of their units plugged in. That means any room on our campus, and any place in the world where we have an ethernet connection. Pretty sweet and cutting edge stuff to be able to "play" with.

I'm also starting to look into piecing together a new computer (maybe Mac?) for as cheap as I can. If anyone has any money, parts, deals, or information to throw at it, let me know.

Time to start the fun. Have a great day and remember that "there is no spoon".
