Chiefs / Texans game - Opening Day NFL Season 07-08

My wife is amazing. I just want to start with that. I don't really need to say much more other that she is the reason we went to today's game. The game's outcome stunk, seeing our Chiefs get SHALLACKED by the stinking Texans, but oh well, everything else was amazing! The stadium is beautiful, the ambiance and overall experience they do for the fans is top notch, and the scenery is gorgeous as you can see by the pics we took. How did I get so lucky to have a wife who loves football as well? And to love the same team I do? One thing though, I don't know how she can like the Broncos as much as she likes the Chiefs, like she says she does. With us getting spanked, and with us wearing Chiefs jerseys to the game, we figured we'd hear it from the fans, but they were suprisingly nice to us. That is all until we were walking out. Then the idiots came out. It was like this group of five guys were following us the whole walk out, talking all sorts of crap, and we didn't even gloat about the fact that we were in the playoffs last year, and when were the Texans ever there? Or how it was only one game...and let us know when they win more than six games. But no, I decided that it was me vs them, and who knows how many other drunk fans were around them or us that would hear me and join in, let alone maybe beat us down! HA! I laugh, but it's the truth! Anyway, after we finally got down the walkway and got to our car, we laughed about it and were glad our car wasn't vandalized, and that we didn't have to fight traffic. Overall, it was amazing, and I can't wait for us to go to the December game of the Texans vs Broncos, where I can finally root for a Houston team and enjoy a game with the rest of the fans I'm around.

PS...How about those Hawks!!! 35-0!!! And how about Michigan getting SPANKED in their own house again! Oregon impressed the heck out of me! They look like they'd be a fun team to watch!
