Break out the pumpkin spice!

It's 6am. I usually don't have to get up until around 6:45, but Evan's been tossing and turning and making little sounds like he's about to wake up, so I get up and give him his pacifier to see if that's all he wants. He goes back to sleep, but I don't see why I should since I'll be back up in a half hour or so. So I decided to bless you all with some more ramblings. :)

Yesterday and today (Wed/Thurs) I've been home with the shorties, due to my mom being in Iowa for the week and us not having a sitter. Next week I'll be up in Ohio from Sunday through Saturday (10/28-11/3). The following Monday I am pretty sure that I'll be on a team for our next company golf event. It's almost like I have a week and a half vacation, except for the whole "school thing" next week, and the fact that I don't get to do anything really fun.

I'm very excited to get to this CISCO class next week and learn up on all things routing pertaining to CISCO devices. It's a huge addition to my resume if I can learn and understand some things about them. The classes on the website show that they'll run from 8am-7pm and possibly later. How bad does that suck?! It's all good though, because my hotel is right across the street from the facility, and there are plenty of places to eat around there as well, so I won't waste a lot of time running anywhere else after class. That way I can get back to my room at a reasonable time, hook up my webcam and say hi to B and the kids. I had to do the single parent thing when she went back to Iowa for three days. Poor girl has to do it for six. Luckily she works a few days, but that just means that mom has to help out a little more on her babysitting days. Poor girl as well. I pray the kids are angels for them and that they all have a good time while daddy is away.

It's 6:50 now (been replying to emails and surfing while writing this). I need to get the kids up and running for another exciting day at their school. I can hear Braden making noises, so I know he's up. He's so easy to get up in the morning. He gets up with a smile on his face and is ready to get moving. Avery is slowing down, but takes charge. His alarm goes off and then he gets the other kids moving in the morning. It's so easy for me to let him do that when I should be doing it, but I take over once they get downstairs (or if they don't get downstairs and are running behind). Poor Jaelyn though, she is NOT a morning person. She drags her feet most days, and just seems to take a while until she is awake and ready to roll. Typical woman? Don't know.

Nothing exciting going on, I know, but I hadn't posted in a bit, so there you go. Time for me to go get the kids up, and make me a pumpkin spice! Thank God the Nestle holiday coffee creamers are back in the sto'!

Peace out and werd to yer mother.
