What a drive! UGH! We made a drive up to Minnesota, so that Belinda could spend the holidays with her side of the family, for the first time in like 5+ years. We headed up there on Christmas night, leaving at around 8pm, and drove straight through, arriving in Minnesota at around 6pm the following night. It was nice to only drive one day, and to have the kids asleep for half the trip, but holy cow did it suck driving that long without stopping, driving in the dark (where it just seems to be a big blur except for the exit ramps and gas stations you see from time to time). On the way back, we did the trip in two days, and I can't figure out which was more exhausting. We got our fill of the cold and snow as well. We went sledding the first day, and I sat like a kid at Christmas, looking out the window all week, at the snow outside. I absolutely loved it! It was really nice to see all of her family as well, since we don't get to hook up with them at the few times they get together each year, with us down in Houston and all. After driving 22+ hours, I will never again complain having to drive a couple hours to see someone, or even the 5-6 hrs from Des Moines/Iowa City to Minnesota to see them.
With the new year here, again it's time to pull out the old resolutions. As usual, I've decided to lose weight. I bought some stuff for lunches at work, as well as healthy snacks (clementine oranges and yogurt). I got some dumbbells and weight lifting gloves for home, and have vowed to get on the eliptical machine most nights, instead of just 3-4 times a week. Belinda's father and I have decided to help keep each other accountable. We'll see how long it lasts. :) Along with that, I want to do more around the house. Take more pride in it. Get off the games more, even though I have already cut way back. Take more pride in my family, and do more with them instead of sitting in front of the boobtube as much as I do. Another goal is to certify myself with the Microsoft and CISCO information I have. And most importantly, I want to further deepen my relationship with Christ. God has done so much for me, and a line I heard someone say really sparked me. They said, "just as with anything else, if I'm at the same place a year later, then something's wrong."
Well, I hope to not wait this long to post my next entry. I hope you all had a Merry Christmas, and a happy new year. God Bless!

Hi! I just found your site through some of our common music choices. I called my kids in to hear the Logan clip--thank you for it.
The link you provided, "Godlistens.com" didn't work when I tried it. Could I be doing something wrong? Thanks.
I just tested it and all the video links seem to work. Try just using the videos on my site. My station, KSBJ, had to pull some of the Logan stuff off their servers due to it slowing them down, since they were getting hit so much. Hope that helps! God bless!
