Thanks to Stan

My boy Stan back home in Iowa has done a few small projects around the house. I've had a list as well (not as long as his), and decided it was time to start on it. When we bought our house, for some reason, all of the windows except the main front one (where the computer is, and where you can see three other rooms through it) didn't have the nice faux wood blinds on them. It initially had some makeshift curtains, but they were so heavy and looked to horrendous on the inside of the house, that we decided to take them down. The reason it took so long for us to get it put up was that when we did the initial pricing, it was going to be close to $200 for just that one window, and we had too many other things we could use that money for. Our Christmas gift to each other this year, we decided, was to finally get that window covered. Well when the time came, the blinds were down to a nice number of $85! The directions said it should take 15 mins. It took me about 20 just because I wanted to take my time and make sure I did it right. I'll let you judge for yourself.

GO HAWKS! ;)

How much is that Hawkeye in the window? ha ha.

I can't believe you can have CYCLONE Stan and a Hawkeye in the same post. Wow.

Glad you made it back from Minnesota in one piece!

Happy New Year!!
