I'm sitting here watching "Meet the Press". Drinking coffee. Feeling pretty "adult" today. ;) I haven't paid enough attention to the candidates yet, so I'm going to start doing that. Right now, I'm torn, and not sold on any candidate. I seem to fall more in line with the Republican side, but I don't claim to be one. If the right Democrat or Independant comes along, I have no problem voting for them. People seem to like Huckabee, Romney, and McCain on the Republican side, and Obama and Clinton on the Democratic side. I think it would be cool to see Clinton in there, just for the sake of a husband / wife team to have been President. She seems like she knows a ton. I just wonder if she would be too over the top, and would try to prove herself too much...either being too hard or too soft. Obama seems likeable, but he's risen so far so fast, I wonder if he needs more time. I don't know anything about Huckabee or Romney really. McCain was one of my favorites the last time around in '00, and I honestly think he'd make a great president.
Time to start watching debates I guess. Wonder if I can find a site that replays them.
Yesterday I was pretty productive around the house. I put up those blinds (see previous post), did some laundry, cleaned up the house, and even cleaned up the garage (with the help of Jaelyn - she was my little sweeper girl). Today I plan to pay bills, finish the laundry, and work out (I considered cleaning the garage and playing some basketball with Avery, my workout yesterday). I've lost some pounds, so I'm happy so far. My snacks consist of oranges and yogurt. This morning for breakfast, I made some turkey bacon (thanks Mom and Steve for the idea of turkey bacon) and some low calorie bread with "I can't believe it's not butter" on it. For lunch, a turkey sandwich with a salad. And for dinner tonight, some grilled chicken!
We couldn't go to church this morning, as J and Braden are not feeling well. Braden's had a rough cough. J's voice has been really horse (sp?) and she's been really hot, even though she doesn't have a fever that I can tell. Perfect timing though, since we'll be staying home for football today! Come on Tampa Bay and Tennessee!
God Bless you this day!

Here are some online quizzes you can take to see where your beliefs align with which candidates....pretty surprising on a few for me.
