There are many times where one of us in the fam will do or say something that I mean to write about, but forget to. Well, after initially writing and posting this one, B told me I should retitle it "B-isms". I totally loved the idea. I don't know if I'll keep that the name of future "B-isms", but I'll make sure to tag the blog with that title, in case any of my 2 or 3 readers wants to search for funny stuff that we do. Anywho, without further ado, I bring you my first blogged "B-ism"...
Last night, Belinda and I were catching up on American Idol, and a news spot came on during commercials where they mentioned that Green Bay Packers quarterback Bret Favre had retired. That brought on the following banter...at least as best as I remember it...
Me: "Oh yeah, forgot to tell you that Bret Favre retired today."
B: "Why? Was it something about Mary?"
It took me a second, but then we both started cracking up. If you don't know what we're talking about, she was referring to the movie "Something about Mary". She caught me so off guard with her reply that we cracked up about that for a while.
