Six Things
The rules are that I'm supposed to answer the questions about myself. I then at the end, tag 5-6 people at the end of the post and then go on their blogs to leave a comment, letting them know they have been tagged so they can respond also. I have 5 or 6 people, but I'm guessing only a few will follow thru with it since they are either too busy or don't blog as frequently as I do. We shall see though...
1) What was I doing 10 years ago?: *edit* I originally wrote this post and stated facts about how I was in 7th grade, and had just recently moved to Polk City. Well Stan informed me that that would be TWENTY years ago, not ten. Wow, I am old! Okay, TEN years ago, I was livin' in the Principal Financial Group gym, playin' lunchball every day with Stan and all my boys up there. That led to many MANY basketball games there and at various leagues around town. Belinda and I were getting ready to celebrate our first anniversary as a married couple, and little Avery was growing like weed, inside Belinda's tummy, as we were getting ready to introduce him into the world in July.
2) What are 5 things on my to-do list for today (not in any particular order): Prioritize my new work projects. Eat some lunch (it's been sitting by me at my desk for about 45 mins now). Drink way more water since I've been slacking in that department. Wrap presents and help B make Braden's birthday cake for his party tomorrow (his real bday is on Monday). Get my workout in tonight since weigh day is tomorrow.
3) Snacks I enjoy: I am thoroughly diggin' this unsalted trail mix I found at a local sporting goods store. It's got dried cranberries and raisins to give it a sweet/bitter kick. Jerky. Halfway frozen pineapples and peaches (found this out by accident a few weeks ago). Popcorn. Candy candy candy.
4) Things I would do if I were a billionaire: The usual...pay off bills, buy my family a PHAT crib here in H-town, one in Orlando, and one in Chi-town! Buy my mom a maid for life, so she can sit down and relax (and don't worry, one for you too, B. HA!). Buy B and I some sweet rides. Get a sweet motorcycle for the heck of it. Then just go to town and enjoy myself with the rest. I'd invest half of it off the bat so I wouldn't have to worry about money at all. I'd give 10% to my favorite churches/ministries...Lamb of God from back home, KSBJ, and even find a few smaller churches who need help.
5) Places I have lived: Urbandale, Des Moines, Polk City, IA...Houston (Humble), TX
6) Jobs I have had: Cook, retail sales, cold caller for a AAA-type service, accounting tech, team lead for an Accts Receivable department, help desk tech, software support, network/systems analyst.
7) 6 peeps I want to know more about -
Belinda
Ann
Kris
Doug
Ryan

Ummm...yeah...I don't think you were in the 7th grade in 1998. Pretty sure you ballin' with me at lunchball...
Fire me an email...what do you want to know about me?
Ok, ok...here's one interesting fact about me. In a previous life, I was a 95 lb cheerleader named Sally.
There...you satisfied now?!! I've aired my dirty laundry......
